The New American is a bi-weekly magazine of conservative news and opinion. It is published by the John Birch Society.

It succeeded two magazines which used to be published by the John Birch Society: American Opinion, and Review of the News.

As with the John Birch Society, The New American stands solidly – even more so than most other conservative news sources – for conservative values, including limited government and national sovereignty. Compared to other conservative news sources, it emphasizes issues related to globalism and sovereignty while also reporting on a wide spectrum of news.
