Talk:Western

Return to "Western" page.

I can think of two subjects named as "oriental" in western "art" that do not not deserve the name. The first is the well known "Orient Express", made famous by Agatha Christie in her novel, "Murder on the Orient Express", which did not leave Europe and "Beni mora", named "Oriental Suite" by Gustav Holst because of its Algerian themes. No doubt others will come to mind. AlanE (talk) 03:28, 11 September 2016 (EDT)
