I've always thought of the Wombles as a form of liberal propaganda. Perhaps unintentionally, but still so. The themes of the program include conservation, recycling and saving the environment. The wombles themselves are a textbook environmentalist community - living off of scrap, wasteing nothing, dismissive of technology. They are even vegetarian. Does anyone else think this worthy of mention? - NewCrusader

No comments, so I went ahead. On further thought though, I am reminded of such blatent propaganda as Captain Planet, and wonder if perhaps we should have an article dedicated to liberal bias in childrens' television? - NewCrusader
