I've rolled back the edits of everwill, because I caught him copying an article from wikipedia, and most of his edits seem to be almost word for word from wikipedia.--Elamdri 09:07, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

Doing it over, starting from scratch, etc etc etc. Should be done tomorrow or Monday. Karajou 01:22, 8 April 2007 (EDT)

In progress

Yes, the article is in progress; will let everyone know when done. Karajou 02:47, 8 April 2007 (EDT)

Done, but

There are views of Lee as a man which I didn't include yet, and these are views on him regarding slavery, his relationship with God, with Grant, etc, and these should be included on the page in a subheading titled "Assessment", which I will do later. Karajou 17:09, 12 April 2007 (EDT)

Just added to it. It could use a little more. Karajou 01:57, 13 April 2007 (EDT)

Veracruz

It is Veracruz, not Vera Cruz.

--Joaquín Martínez 09:49, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

Back in the 1840's, the U.S. used the two-word "Vera Cruz" for this city, instead of the modern, "Veracruz". I have corrected the entry for the modern name, but left the spelling in Scott's dispatch quotation exactly as it was. Karajou 18:02, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

Hi

Could be beetter?: Vera Cruz (actually Veracruz).

Also R. E. Lee better than L.E. Lee?

Assessment

What's this section for? It does not seem encyclopedic, nor does it add anything to the piece. I think it should be deleted. PhilScheur 14:25, 5 May 2008 (EDT)

Lots of encyclopedias, such as Britannica, contain assessments of famous individuals. It stays. Karajou 15:09, 5 May 2008 (EDT)
I've never seen one, but will take your word. Are these generally understood to be editorial in nature? Should this be seen as Conservapedia's assessment of General Lee? PhilScheur 15:15, 5 May 2008 (EDT)
They are more like a conclusive summary of the article itself. Karajou 01:02, 6 May 2008 (EDT)
