Maher has been called an "anti-religious socialist"? By whom? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ed Poor (talk)

BILL MAHER: That's what I always say when people say why don't you run for office, which they say to me all the time which is crazy. And I say, well my campaign would start with religion is bad and drugs are good. Would you like to be the campaign manager for that political campaign?

BEHAR: It is all religion and all drugs or some religion and some drugs?

MAHER: Of course not. I would say all religion, yes.

BEHAR: All religion is bad.

MAHER: Pretty much all religion. I mean, there are varying degrees but it's all very, you know, childish destructive nonsense in my view. [1] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ed Poor (talk)

Thanks for the quote, Ed. It's hard to keep track of what he thinks; I actually liked him for a long time and then all the sudden I couldn't stand anything he said! I know I didn't change...
I though it would be best (especially since there were no citations) to keep descriptions of Bill Maher on the Bill Maher page, and keep descriptions of Real Time on this page. Agree? (Incidentally, "anti-religious" isn't on his personal page). HelpJazz 18:37, 4 January 2008 (EST)
