I don't really know about the Black Panther thing, and I don't deny that he has said some stupid things (and basically been a bit of an idiot) what I was saying was that the article states that there was 'speculation' without providing any of that speculation. For all we know, the person who put that into the article may have been the only one to make that connection. Definitely not :) nah, i just saw that sentence which, regardless of what I think of the guy's music or behaviour, just seemed a bit unnecessary and out of place. But if you say that was a common opinion I'll look up some sources some time.Cmurphynz 09:21, 3 September 2012 (EDT)

Neither is telling black youth in a black church to get off the Democratic plantation, stopping taking handouts, get a job, work, and start a business. And being an example to them. Preaching the end of victimhood isn't the prosperity gospel, either.

If West says for example, "Jesus didn't mean for you to be a slave," and then encourages people to excel on their own, while some might say that's a mixture of politics (leave the Democrat plantation) and a prosperity Gospel, then one has to defend the position that remaining on the Democrat plantation is God's will.
