• Infections may be defeated by the use of Antibiotics, agents that can kill the bacteria that cause infections. In recent years, very powerful infections known as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus or MRSA have wreaked havoc in hospitals around the world, as they are caused by bacteria that have become resistant to multiple drugs that had previously been used to combat them.

Hi! I think you're right, it might be more appropriate in the Antibiotics article - it's too much information for an article on Infections. But I do think that there should be something in this article about how infections can be fought? Perhaps some like this:

"Infections are traditionally fought by the use of Antibiotics, of which Penicillin is one well known example"
