Return to "Boy George" page.

Because it was such a strong part of his image, if this articles stays, there should be some mention made of his permanent makeup and his later public admission of homosexuality. Learn together 18:35, 27 July 2007 (EDT)

I think this article should be deleted. "Boy George" isn't really a family friendly character, and we should not promote his lifestyle. SSchultz 23:35, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
"Boy George" isn't really a family friendly character, and we should not promote his lifestyle. On that score we should be deleting Genghis Khan and Adolf Hitler. Shouldn't the question be 'Is BG of any long-term cultural or historical relevance?' Pachyderm 06:04, 28 July 2007 (EDT)
I'm surprised that this article describes his music in such glowing terms. The mention of his androgynous image being a large part of his popularity IMHO, seems to glorify the breakdown of traditional gender roles. JohnGalt 17:30, 3 December 2007 (EST)

Accusation of plagiarism

The accusation is taken directly from IrrationalWiki and has no place here. This WP article was written by William123 and the supposedly plagiarized article was written by a William. Could it possibly be the same person? Until I see proof to the contrary, that's the assumption I'm going with as it is the most logical. Jinxmchue 13:36, 1 August 2008 (EDT)

I saw I could still email William123 through CP, so I did and asked him if he was the William who wrote the original source article. I'll let you know if I heard back. Jinxmchue 17:58, 1 August 2008 (EDT)
Wow, the irrational ones aren't really bright. Yes, that's exactly what I did. I just outright stated "are you William so-n-so?" Yep. I'm a flippin' moron. Jinxmchue 23:40, 1 August 2008 (EDT)

Old news/gossip

"He has been convicted (and will likely go to prison) for handcuffing a male escort to a bed against his will and then beating him with a chain" This is probably in need of an update if it is to remain here, but it is clearly in violation of the Conservapedia Commandment against gossip. Furthermore, in light of the preceding discussion of whether this individual is significant enough to warrant inclusion here, it is certain that if he is deemed worthy of inclusion, it would be on the basis of his musical career rather than his notoriety on other bases.
