Wikipedia has not updated its CEFC page since its chairman Ye Jianming disappeared into the Chinese gulag in February 2017. [1]. The company didn't go "bankrupt"; its owners, the Bank of China and the CCP, simplyy changed the name and transferred the assets to the new name after Ye Jianming got busted bribing UN and African officials and his flunky called Hunter Biden to bail him out. - That's not surprising to hear at this point. Wikipedia is the same site that cites Salon, The New York Slimes, and CNN for their "information" while claiming that Breitbart and the Gateway Pundit aren't reliable. —

An energy company owned by the fourth largest bank in the world and the biggest bank in China doesn't go "bankrupt". But Ye's sloppy work in compromising and bribing foreign officials (the Bidens included) exposed the CCP's foreign policy aspirations and earned him a place in the gulag. I'm sure he wasn't shot right away cause they'd have to interrogate him for every bit of information possible about his activities with his contacts, which could take years.
- But this shows the difference between the Western legal system and Socialism with a Chinese face which Biden and the Democrats are trying to bring to America - a corrupt Wall Street CEO may do some time in the federal pen and pay big fines; a Chinese communist party member and head of a global conglomerate just disappears never to be seen again without so much as a press release from the Chinese ministry of justice of him being in custody or charged. - A theory: the CCP thought that with the influence they bought with the Bidens, their boy Dr. Patrick Ho could be bailed out. They thought the USA was run like the CCP. But Hunter doesn't practice criminal law. That's when the relationship between the CCP and the Biden's soured. Beware, the breakdown in what the CCP thought was a standing agreement will be used by Biden apologists to say there never was a corrupt relationship beteen the Bidens and the CCP at all.
