The South Carolina primary will be held on February 20, 2015, for Republicans, and is winner-take-all.
Newt Gingrich win this primary in 2012 by a wide margin, but Mitt Romney still won the GOP nomination.
In the Republican nomination process for the 2016 presidential election, different candidates are expected to win the Iowa caucuses and the NH primary, which gives the South Carolina primary heightened significance as a tie-breaker.
