Slavoj Zizek is a Slovenian psychoanalyst and philosopher, whose defense of Christianity, and St. Paul in particular, is unusual among contemporary atheist, Marxist intellectuals. In his book The Fragile Absolute: Or, Why is the Christian Legacy Worth Fighting For?, he argues that the revolutionary spirit of Christianity is one of the key cultural goods of the West.
