Sherman Minton was a politician and jurist from Indiana. As a Senator he was a strong supporter of Franklin Roosevelt and the New Deal, and he even supported Roosevelt's plan to pack the Supreme Court. However, he struck down many of Roosevelt's policies as unconstitutional as a jurist.
