Scott Desjarlais, M.D. (born February 21, 1964, in Sturgis, South Dakota) is a general practitioner and Republican U.S. Representative from Tennessee's 4th congressional district, defeating Democrat incumbent Lincoln Davis in his first run for political office in 2010.
