Sarasota is a city in Florida, south of Tampa. It is also the county seat of Sarasota County and a part of the deep red, arguably Bible Belt Southwest Florida.

It was the home of John Ringling, founder of Ringling Brothers Circus. His home is now preserved as a tourist attraction, primarily as an art museum which is designated as the state's official one.
