Samuel Joseph Robb (born January 2, 1969) is an American software engineer, author, and politician. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he completed his graduation in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon University, and later became a naval officer in Southern California after receiving a full scholarship from ROTC, before returning to Pittsburgh where he began a career as a computer programmer and software developer. He is currently a school teacher at Harvest Baptist Church. He is married with three adopted children.[1] On April 1, 2019, Sam Robb announced his candidacy for the Libertarian Party presidential nominee in the 2020 US election under the campaign slogan "Make America Free Again!". He was eliminated during nomination round for the 2020 Libertarian Party National Convention, where the liberal Jo Jorgensen controversially defeated frontrunner Jacob Hornberger to become the presidential nominee.[2] Robb was the only major 2020 Libertarian Party candidate to hold conservative views on abortion and open borders.[3]
