Pua Aloalo - Hawaii's state flower

The Pua Aloalo (Hibiscus brackenridgei), a native yellow hibiscus (also known locally as "Ma`o-hau-hele") is the state flower of Hawaii.[1] On June 6, 1988, the Pua Aloalo was officially adopted as Hawaii's state flower.[2]
