Princess Peach (known as Princess Toadstool before Super Mario 64) is a character from the Mario series. She makes her debut appearance in Super Mario Bros., the first title of the Super Mario series of adventure games. In most of these games, Peach has the role of damsel-in-distress in that she is kidnapped by Bowser, and both Mario and Luigi have to rescue her.
