Pramila Jayapal is the communist Democrat Party representative from Washington's 7th Congressional District in the U.S. House. Jayapal was endorsed by Our Revolution, is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and sponsor of the totalitarian Green New Deal, Medicare for All, and Abolish ICE bills.

Jayapal has been involved with Liberation Road and Democratic Socialists of America-connected groups for many years and was trained in a Liberation Road aligned training school in 2010.[1]

Following the September 11, 2001 attacks, Jayapal founded OneAmerica (initially named Hate Free Zone) and served as executive director of the organization for 11 years. OneAmerica describes its purpose as "organizing with and advocating for diverse communities" and was initially founded to "address the backlash, hate crimes, and discrimination against immigrant communities of color, primarily Muslims, Arab Americans, East Africans, and South Asians," according to its website.[2]

Abolish ICE Plan

On July 12, 2018 Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) introduced H.R. 6361, in the House to abolish ICE. Eight House Democrats signed on as cosponsors: Pramila Jayapal and D. Adam Smith of Washington; Adriano Espaillat, José Serrano, Nydia Velázquez, and Yvette Clarke, all from New York; Earl Blumenauer of Oregon; and James McGovern of Massachusetts.[3] Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, and other Democrats all rallied behind the “Abolish ICE” banner.
