Pony car

A pony car is a small, lightweight automobile having a powerful V8 engine, and thus able to accelerate very quickly. The initial and immensely successful pony car was the Ford Mustang in 1964.
A pony car contrasts with a muscle car by being shorter in length (with a shorter wheelbase), and lighter in weight.
