Wellstone stands at the right as President Clinton signs the Biden Crime Bill of 1994. The bill is known for ushering in the era of The New Jim Crow.[1]

Paul David Wellstone was an Democratic party politician. He was elected to the United States Senate from Minnesota in 1990 , reelected in 1996 and served from January 3, 1991, until his death in a plane crash on October 25, 2002.
