Parliamentary inquiry

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Lukecorlando (Talk | contribs) at 20:02, January 13, 2008. It may differ significantly from current revision.

A Parliamentary Inquiry is a question from the floor to the Presiding Officer by a Senator requesting a clarification of the procedural situation on the floor. Responses to parliamentary inquiries are not rulings of the Presiding Officer, but may lead the Senator posing the inquiry or another to raise a point of order.[1]
