Mother Nature is a modernized pagan view of Nature native to pantheism, evolutionism, and modern cosmic religion. According to G.K. Chesterton, only a supernaturalist has taken a sane view of Nature and if one starts regard Nature as mother, one will soon discover that she is stepmother. Unlike these pagan religions, Christianity treats Nature as sister, we can be proud of her beauty, since we have same father; but she has no authority over us; we have to admire, but not to imitate.[1]
