Midhat Mursi is a top chemical weapons expert working for Al Qaeda. He co-operated with Chechnyan separatists to run a chemical weapon training camp in the former Soviet republic of Georgia. The pro-western Georgian government refused permission to Russian forces to clear out the terrorists.
He was mistakenly believed to have been killed in an airstrike in Pakistan in 2006. The U.S. government has offered a five million dollar reward for his capture.
