Michael Newdow is an American attorney and an atheist. He supports the separation of church and state, and is well known for openly advocating the removal and mention of God from society, even going as far as to file lawsuits over it. He also declares the phrase "under God" of the Pledge of Allegiance to be unconstitutional.
