Max Rose (born November 28, 1986, age 37) is a U.S. Army veteran and establishment Democrat who was the U.S. representative from New York's 11th district from 2019 to 2021.

On September 9, 2020, Rose released a 15-second ad calling Bill de Blowhard "the worst mayor in the history of New York City."[1]

Rose has called a constituent in his district "out of [his] "f***ing mind".[2]

U.S. House of Representatives

2018 election

Rose won election to the United States House of Representatives in 2018, defeating Republican then-incumbent Dan Donovan by less than 7% of the vote.[3] At a debate, Rose said:

And if you want to understand my immigration stance, well I stand with Dan Donovan from 2017. I'm for comprehensive immigration reform. I am for sanctuary cities.[4]

Tenure

Rep. Rose apologized to Jewish constituents in March 2019 after anti-Semitic remarks from his far-left colleague Ilhan Omar.[5]

Having been in a condition of acute Romnesia, Rose opposed Democrat efforts to impeach Donald Trump[6] before supporting them less than a month later.[7] He later voted in favor of the impeachment coup.[8]

2020 election

Rose was defeated for re-election in 2020 by Moderate Republican state assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis.[9]
