Malala Yousafzai (born July 12, 1997) is a Pakistani blogger and child rights activist. She is committed to maintaining the right of education for girls. On October 9, 2012 she was shoot by a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan-death squad on her way home from school.[1] After an operation she returned to school in March 2013.[2] In 2014 Malala was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize with Kailash Satyarthi.[3]
