Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries at Friday's Presidential debate and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: "Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality." [1] [2]

While Democrats and other liberals attempt to smear President Bush over the current financial situation, they ignore the real cause of the turmoil. Politically correct do-gooders, led by Bill Clinton's Housing Secretary Andrew Cuomo, insisted that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac give preferential treatment to those in society least likely to be able to make repayments. Who could have guessed what the consequences might be? Link

Do you hate free speech? Then join the posse in Missouri and give your support to the team of Obama-supporting attorneys and sheriffs as they begin to pursue legal challenges to any presidential campaign ads they don't like: [3]

Environmental groups manipulate federal election laws and bury their political activities under the guise of nonprofit environmental improvement. Disguised as environmental causes, these organizations actually are an extension of the Democratic party used for political gain. They take the American public's money for the sake of 'saving the environment' and use it to fund ads for Democratic candidates. [4]

"Progressives for Obama" is an independent organization working to ensure the election of Obama to the presidency...and one of its main founders is another Weather Underground terrorist: [5]

As Americans suffer at gas pumps, California lawmakers get free gas cards paid by the taxpayer. The state facing a $15 billion budget deficit will not even audit the gas cards use. Surprise, most Californian lawmakers oppose expanding domestic oil drilling. They will never care about the cost of gasoline if it does not affect their own pocket book. [6]

A Roman Catholic school has banned female pupils from receiving the new cervical cancer vaccine on its premises. Governors at the school in Manchester, England believe the school is "not the right place" to administer the injections and in a letter to parents say a number of the school's pupils who took part in a pilot study were subsequently off school suffering from nausea, joint pain, headaches and high fevers. [7]

Barack Obama and Alinsky's Rules for Psychopaths [8]
"Obama and Hillary are lifelong followers of Alinsky. They use his tactics and ideology. That is why American politics became the politics of personal destruction when the Boomer Left came to power."

"Iraq's parliament has unanimously approved a provincial elections law after weeks of deadlock. The lawmakers voted Wednesday in favor of the measure after overcoming an Impasse due to objections over power-sharing issues in the province that includes the oil-rich city of Kirkuk. Kurdish, Shiite, Sunni and Turkomen legislators agreed to form a parliamentary committee to review disputes regarding Kirkuk and present a report by March 2009." [9]

Liberalism is an Addiction [10]
"The brains and values of left-wingers have decomposed to the point where they actually believe Keith Olbermann, Rosie O'Donnell and Chris Matthews make sense and that people like Whoopi Goldberg, Al Franken and Bill Maher, are funny. That is why I say that liberalism is an addiction -- and why, as with other addictions, I’d like to see it kicked. Kicked good and hard."

Democrats and Double Standards [11]
"Two things are clear with six weeks left in the presidential race. Barack Obama will practice the old-style politics that he lamented throughout the Democratic primary. And the media will give him a pass."

Protecting the National Anthem, the Pledge of Allegiance, and Our National Unity. [12]

Newly elected Liberal Democratic Party President Taro Aso took power as Japan's prime minister on Wednesday. The 68-year-old former Olympic sharpshooter is the nation's first Conservative Catholic leader. [13]

Not just firm connections to unrepentant terrorists, but radical leftists seem to be attached to Obama's resume as well, like a socialist agitator who dedicated a book to Satan and wrote a letter of recommendation for Obama when he applied to Harvard Law School [14]

Liberal Joe Biden displays his ignorance in lying about basic American history: "When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed. He said, 'look, here's what happened.'"[15]
There are two strikingly ignorant lies in that statement. Can you identify them?

Brochure compares the presidential and vice presidential candidates on abortion.[16]

"For many years the President and his Administration have not only warned of the systemic consequences of financial turmoil at a housing government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) but also put forward thoughtful plans to reduce the risk that either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac would encounter such difficulties. President Bush publicly called for GSE reform 17 times in 2008 alone before Congress acted. Unfortunately, these warnings went unheeded, as the President's repeated attempts to reform the supervision of these entities were thwarted by the legislative maneuvering of those who emphatically denied there were problems." Fox News: Homeschooling Surges in U.S. [19]
More and more people are choosing homeschooling for their children. "'It used to be that homeschooling was the domain of people on the two extremes of the political spectrum, and now you have families from every possible Religious, political, philosophical, socio-economic position,' said Celeste Land, chairwoman of the Government Affairs Committee for the Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers."

Family Research Council Releases New Study on Successful Abortion Reduction Legislation [20]
"The Family Research Council has released a study demonstrating which state level parental involvement laws are most effective in reducing abortions among minors. The study is the first comprehensive analysis of minor abortion data from nearly all 50 states between 1985 and 1999. Overall, the findings indicate that when a state enacts a parental involvement law, the abortion rate falls by an average of approximately 13.6 percent." PDF

"Through a series of painstaking mice experiments involving human non-embryonic stem cells, biologists have pinpointed three crucial molecular switches that, when flipped, completely convert a common cell in the pancreas into the more precious insulin-producing ones. The experiments raise the prospect that patients suffering from diabetes, heart disease, strokes and many other ailments could eventually have a cure to their afflictions." [21]

Palestinians Man Phone Bank for Obama [22]
"For the past seven months, a group of students and young professionals has gathered nightly to phone U.S. voters and urge them to support Barack Obama in the presidential elections.
This would not be at all unusual were it not for the fact that the callers are Palestinians living in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip."

"John McCain’s campaign and a supporter at a McCain rally separately accused the press of favoring Barack Obama on Monday, with McCain’s top strategist calling The New York Times a “pro-Obama advocacy organization.” [23]
“Let’s be clear and be honest with each other about something fundamental to this race, which is this: Whatever the New York Times once was, it is today not — by any standard — a journalistic organization,” strategist Steve Schmidt told reporters on a conference call. “It is a pro-Obama advocacy organization that every day attacks the McCain campaign, attacks Senator McCain, attacks Governor [Sarah] Palin and excuses Senator Obama.”

Wikiproject News contributors have completed over 300 new articles for Conservapedia.
The top three contributors will be mentioned on the Main Page on Conservapedia Day 2008.

Talking about a Barack Obama campaign ad that makes fun of John McCain for not knowing how to use the internet, Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Joe Biden stated, "I thought that was terrible." [24]

So Much for the "Failure" of the War on Terror ...
"Top U.S. counterterrorism officials Monday said Al Qaeda is "imploding" and that its violent tactics have turned Muslims worldwide against the organization. 'Absolutely it's imploding. It's imploding because it's not a message that resonates with a lot of Muslims,' said Dell Dailey, the State Department's coordinator for counterterrorism." [25]

Another example of liberal hate: Chevy Chase exhorted the cast [26] of Saturday Night Live to "decimate" Sarah Palin in their sketches, which resulted in an accusation of incest that has left many furious: [27][28]

And in this example [29] a woman who survived an abortion is being targeted by the Obama campaign. [30]

Having a proxy or two didn't help this hacker, as the FBI and Secret Service raided his apartment in the wake of the Sarah Palin email incident: [31]
No surprise: the suspect is the son of a Democratic politician.

Responding to Neo-Atheism [32]
"It is ironic that what ultimately makes neo-atheism not only unconvincing but off-putting is the fact that it often exhibits the very fundamentalism it purports to find in religion: an absolute certainty in its views, an uncritical worship of its god -- science -- as a saving force, and a denigration of those who refuse to be saved."

"What bothers us about bias in the mainstream media is that the Left lies about its bias. It pretends to be an objective collegial body of neutral professionals. It conceals its opinions and pretends instead to be an honest umpire of the facts. It tries to trick us." [33]
"The Left does not want to argue honestly or to win fights fairly. Leftists believe that the end justifies the means. If that means pretending to be neutral when in fact you have a distinct political agenda, that is fine (as long as you win.) The Left does not believe in honest umpires."

Hypocrisies of the Left [34]
"Of course like all sociopaths they mask their pathologies quite well. They actually pretend to care about people, well at least when they are looking for votes. They promise free health care, free energy, free anything. They neglect to say that there is no such thing as free. We supposedly have "free" education but it's hugely expensive, supported by massive taxes which you have to pay whether you have children in school or not. And it all puts more power into the hands of the government. They want the government to control everything because they intend to control the government. And once they control the government they will control the people."

Barack Obama Camp Starts "Faith Tour" to Mislead Pro-Life Voters on Abortion [35]
"Though Barack Obama is out of step with pro-life voters by virtue of his pro-abortion position throughout pregnancy, his campaign plans a "faith tour" featuring a handful of pro-life advocates who are supporting him."
National Right to Life legislative director Douglas Johnson says, "That is just is a public relations product cooked up at liberal think tanks like Third Way, where veteran pro-abortion activists specialize in developing strategies to help hard-core pro-abortion politicians camouflage their positions."

Obama's Social Security Whopper [36]
"He tells Social Security recipients their money would now be in the stock market under McCain's plan. False."

If only these moms had breastfed their babies, like Sarah Palin does.
BBC News: Thousands ill due to tainted Chinese baby formula. [37] 12,892 infants are being treated in hospitals throughout China, and four babies have died after ingesting melamine, an industrial chemical. The melamine was added to the formula powder to make it appear higher in protein. Melamine can case severe renal problems and kidney stones. The World Health Organization recommends that babies be "exclusively breastfed for the first six months of life to achieve optimal growth, development and health", and that breastfeeding continue "for up to two years of age or beyond." [38]

Which candidate cares more about women's pay? The average annual male salary in Obama's office was $12,472 more than the average annual female salary. Women on McCain’s staff earn 24 percent more on average than women on Obama’s Senate staff. [39]

Over 50 years later, liberals end their deceitful denials and admit that Julius Rosenberg was a spy for the communist Soviet Union. [40] Closure and healing in the tragic case could have begun 50 years ago had not liberals persisted in their false denials.

In an encapsulation of atheistic Hollywood Values, liberal filmmakers are to release a movie openly attacking religion and believers. Religulous (oh, the humor!) is directed by Larry Charles and stars Bill Maher. More: [41]

Is the Purpose of English Class Leftist Political Indoctrination? [42]

Hollywood Values: Bought and Paid For [51]
Brad Pitt Puts up $100,000 to Defeat California's Traditional Marriage Amendment.

Baylor/Gallup study shows traditional Christianity promotes rationalism [52]
"What Americans Really Believe, a comprehensive new study released by Baylor University yesterday, shows that traditional Christian religion greatly decreases belief in everything from the efficacy of palm readers to the usefulness of astrology. It also shows that the irreligious and the members of more liberal Protestant denominations, far from being resistant to superstition, tend to be much more likely to believe in the paranormal and in pseudoscience than evangelical Christians."

Look Who's Irrational Now
"the New Atheist campaign, by discouraging religion, won't create a new group of intelligent, skeptical, enlightened beings. Far from it: It might actually encourage new levels of mass superstition. And that's not a conclusion to take on faith -- it's what the empirical data tell us."

Last month, Rachel Bird exchanged vows with Gideon Codding in a church wedding in front of family and friends. As far as Bird is concerned, she is a bride.
To the state of California, however, she is either "Party A" or "Party B."
Those are the terms that have replaced "bride" and "groom" on the state's new gender-neutral marriage licenses. And to Bird and Codding, that is unacceptable. [53]

In a CBS 2 HD exclusive interview, Rep. Rangel called Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin "disabled."
The question was simple: Why are the Democrats so afraid of Palin and her popularity?
The answer was astonishing.
"You got to be kind to the disabled," Rangel said. [54]

The human rights organization Human Rights Watch has criticised the erosion of democracy in Venezuela under the rule of its pseudo-Communist dictator Hugo Chavez. In the past decade, says HRW, "his professed commitment to [democracy] is belied by his government’s willful disregard for the institutional guarantees and fundamental rights that make democratic participation possible. Venezuela will not achieve real and sustained progress toward strengthening its democracy—nor will it serve as a useful model for other countries in the region—so long as its government continues to flout the human rights principles enshrined in its own constitution." The Chavez junta reacted to the report by throwing two HRW observers out of the country. [55]

McCain Endorsed by Member of DNC Platform Committee.

Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a prominent Hillary Clinton supporter and member of the Democratic National Committee’s Platform Committee has endorsed Republican nominee John McCain.

"In an election as important at this, we must choose the candidate who has a proven record of bipartisanship and reforming government, and that’s John McCain, we can’t afford a president who lacks experience and judgment and has never crossed party lines to work for meaningful reform. Amid tough economic times and foreign policy concerns, we need someone who is ready to lead. Although I am a Democrat, I recognize that it’s more important to put country ahead of party and that’s why I support John McCain," she said. [61]

Just in case anyone thought he was dead, Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden says that, for wealthier Americans, paying higher taxes is the patriotic thing to do. … Biden told ABC’s "Good Morning America" on Thursday that, in his words, "it’s time to be patriotic … time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut." Google Agrees to Pro-Life Ads in United Kingdom [66]
Facing a U.K. legal challenge, the Internet search giant Google has relented and agreed to accept pro-life ads for the first time. In April, The Christian Institute took legal action when Google did not approve an anti-abortion ad. Google said at the time that its policy did not allow ads for Web sites containing “abortion and religion-related content.” The Christian Institute argued that Google’s policy was in breach of the U.K. Equality Act of 2006, which prohibits religious discrimination.

John McCain's selection of Sarah Palin has sent feminists and their supporters into a frantic tizzy because of her small-town roots and pro-life views. [80]

Why Feminists Fear Strong Women [81]

To liberals and those in the media, conservative opposition pose a dangerous threat to them. Because of this, Democrats and the media propagate caricatures about conservatives. This results in the left's large comprehension gap. [82]

Describing the world of VP-nominee Sarah Palin to the elitist media. [83]
Sarah is a strong woman, championing the cause of right and defeating wrong as a role model to emulate. As a mother, she is the central point of abject love and devotion. As a leader, her responsiveness to the citizens is held paramount. These are just some of the new and unfamilar concepts the elitist media are only now understanding.

Media Cooking the Books on Palin [84]

Another example of liberal hate: freelance news magazine photographer Jill Greenberg, a self-described hardcore Democrat, did a shot of John McCain designed to make him look fresh from a horror movie. "I left his eyes red and his skin looking bad...he had no idea," she said. [85]

Britain is using gestapo-like tactics and secret courts to remove hundreds of children from their parents, and gaoling the parents if they try to contact their offspring, a leading Christian organisation has warned. Among the excuses used by the licensed bullies are that 'the parents aren't clever enough', and that a mother had a 'troubled childhood'. Completely unproven allegations against one father many years previously were sufficient to have another child snatched from its family. In Socialist Britain today the 'presumption of innocence' is a thing of the past, as is the right to trial by jury in family courts. [88]

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama attacked Republican opponent John McCain in a new campaign ad Friday. The ad attacked McCain for not knowing how to use a computer or email. [89]. This may be because McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. [90] Maybe it's the Obama campaign that needs to learn how to do a Google search.

Senator John McCain accepting his party's presidential nomination, 09/04/08

The address of the year was Thursday night, with John McCain imploring Americans to "stand up" for our country.

"Tonight, I have a privilege given few Americans -- the privilege of accepting our party’s nomination for President of the United States. And I accept it with gratitude, humility and confidence."

McCain talked at length about his military career, economic issues and foreign policy. His discussed his life of experience and "maverick" streak on Capitol hill.

"I've been called a maverick. Sometimes it's meant as a compliment and sometimes it's not. What it really means is I understand who I work for. I’ve fought corruption, and it didn’t matter if the culprits were Democrats or Republicans. They violated their public trust, and had to be held accountable. I’ve fought big spenders in both parties, who waste your money on things you neither need nor want, while you struggle to buy groceries, fill your gas tank and make your mortgage payment. 37,244,000 watched Sarah Palin's acceptance speech

Did you know that the teleprompter broke during Sarah Palin's flawless speech Wednesday evening?

"Halfway through Sarah Palin's speech tonight at the RNC, people following the speech noticed she was deviating from the prepared text. According to sources close to the McCain campaign, the teleprompter continued scrolling during applause breaks. As a result, half way through the speech, the speech had scrolled significantly from where Governor Palin was in the speech. The malfunction also occurred during Rudy Giuliani's speech, explaining his significant deviations from his speech. ... Unfazed, Governor Palin continued, from memory (and [her notes]), to deliver her speech without the teleprompter cued to the appropriate point in her speech. Contrast this to Barack Obama who, when last his teleprompter malfunctioned, was left stuttering before a crowd unable to advance his speech until the problem was resolved."[132]

Republicans Meet in Minnesota for Convention
Delegates met for day two of the Republican National Convention Tuesday night. Although there were some criticisms of Sen. Barack Obama, the night focused mostly on Sen. John McCain's biography. The night opened with Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN), who praised McCain, saying "he's never given in to adversity. He's never said no to a challenge." First Lady Laura Bush spoke, and would go on to introduce President George W. Bush via satellite from the White House. Former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-TN) spoke about McCain's service as a POW and record in the Senate, saying that "John McCain's character has been tested like no other presidential candidate in the history of this nation." Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) gave the final address where he praised McCain's bipartisan record and criticized Obama, "elegance is not a substitute for a record." the former Democratic Vice Presidential nominee said.

The text of the speeches can be found here.

Likely Obama supporters attack a busload of Cub Scouts: "a busload of Cub Scouts were en route to the convention, where they were to present the colors to open the convention. A group of protesters--liberals, Obama supporters, or whatever--blocked the road, surrounded the bus, and attacked it, rocking the bus back and forth, denting and scratching the sides, and generally terrifying the children trapped inside."[138]

While those in attendance at the Republican National Convention put politics on hold, instead focusing on aid to those displaced by Gustav, protesters saw no reason to do the same. The first day of the convention was marred by violence and attacks on delegates. Police arrested over 200 for violence.[140]

Why don't anti-Democrat protests ever turn violent? (It shows clearly which party respects human rights and free speech more.)

Clueless leftists claim that Sarah Palin "is an idiot"[141] because she said about the Pledge of Allegiance's "under God," "If it was good enough for the founding fathers, it's good enough for me ...."[142]
The phrase "under God" is from George Washington and, yes, he was a Founding Father.[143] But don't expect leftists to pay attention to history!
