Ron Reagan Jr., "who became a liberal and atheist," makes headlines again by embarrassing his father, this time by claiming he had Alzheimer's disease while in office. The truth is that President Ronald Reagan's "four White House doctors said they saw no evidence of it," and his mind demolished liberal Walter Mondale in their final 1984 debate, so what does Ron Jr.'s claim say about liberals and atheists? [5]

Six more states to join fight against ObamaCare That brings the number of states on the Florida suit to 23 and the total number of states suing to stop Obamacare at 25. [14]

With each passing day, it looks more and more like ObamaCare may ultimately prove to be Obama's Waterloo. ObamaCare certainly didn't help Obama in the November election. If a large entitlement program like ObamaCare is defeated, it could certainly help cause some political momentum for other large Federal entitlement programs to be ended or pared down as well.

Federal government continued its assault on the religious liberty of Catholic institutions. National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) ruled that Manhattan College could not prevent faculty from unionizing on the basis that it is a religious institution. [15]

Jared Loughner's mugshot

Radical, leftist punk rock band "Anti-Flag" may have been a major inspiration to Jared Loughner (photo at right), described by his close friend as a "nihilist".
Predictably, however, members of the left claim it was speech from the right that caused Loughner's actions, and they want to control it: [27]

While Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney top the GOP field, the race remains wide open although some candidates are having trouble gaining traction, particularly Gary Johnson, Rick Santorum, Herman Cain, Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich. Romney seems to have the most committed base along with Sarah Palin. Tim Pawlenty is attracting some interest. Michele Bachmann could be a wild card and maybe John Thune. [36]

Prior to dropping out of high school, Jared Lee Loughner attended Mountain View High School, part of Arizona's Morana Unified School District and since 2003 part of the Smaller Learning Communities, an offshoot of a group founded in part by Weather Underground William Ayers. He is a junior at the University of Arizona and he also advised others what to do with the other wounded people while they waited for help to arrive, according to MSNBC. Hernandez had taken some first aid courses in high school but he is being hailed as heroic for his actions on Saturday.

Feel free to tell us about more overweight atheists as our research about this topic is in its preliminary stage. Atheists aren't doing too well on the marriageability front and you are not helping this situation!

In August of 2009, Conservapedia declared that Ben Bernanke, the current Chairman of the Federal Reserve, lost money in his investments and that he probably should invest in gold.[151] Since then, the price of gold has gone up approximately 40%.[152] Conservapedia should head the Federal Reserve. Our first order of business would be to abolish the Federal Reserve.

Good rule of thumb: Listen to what Ben Bernanke predicts about the United States economy and then expect the opposite to occur.Video[153][154]

"Bethlehem shines as Europe freezes." [155]

Just in time for Christmas, a case of liberal stupidity: United States Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) has to write to Santa Claus to try to get him to move to New Jersey, due to global warming melting the Arctic Ocean. "Please know that I will work to mobilize the U.S. federal government to assist when you relocate. I am sure we can both agree that on a warming planet, we need to do all we can to save Christmas." [156]

Meanwhile, the good Senator is ignoring the 80% chance of snow that his state capitol of Trenton will have tomorrow!

Atlanta will see its "first white Christmas since the Chester Arthur administration" in 1882. [157] Global warming???

Balloon takes Santa on wild Utah ride. If only Santa was as good with hot air balloons as with reindeer sleighs. A man in a Santa outfit took a wild ride through Utah skies Christmas Eve when his balloon took off without a pilot. [158]

The Archbishop of Westminster declares that faith is the greatest Christmas gift, and even a British newspaper prints that message. [159]

Global warming? Many Europeans have been unable to get home for Christmas due to cold, severe weather. "Bitterly cold temperatures brought problems in Scandinavia" and "Britain's aviation regulator said it had written to several airlines about the 'unacceptable' failure to properly feed and accommodate stranded passengers." [160]

"Big crowds turned out for Christmas Eve celebrations in the West Bank town of Bethlehem." [161]

"Very religious Americans are more likely to practice healthy behaviors than those who are moderately religious or nonreligious." Gallup poll

Some additional information showing the folly of Obamunism - TownHall reports: "With a constitutional mandate to balance its budget by 2016, Germany now has an unemployment rate of 6.7% — its lowest unemployment rate in 18 years. Switzerland has long had a balanced budget requirement and currently enjoys a 4.4% unemployment rate, the lowest in Europe."[162]

German and Swiss industriousness and economic discipline triumph over Obama's profligate ways and his "spread the wealth to irresponsible bankers, unionists and delinquent mortgage borrowers" philosophy. Obama is currently driving up the national debt up further with his ill deserved Hawaii vacation.[163]

Trend forecaster Gerald Celente revises his prediction of a 2010 worldwide economic depression to a worldwide economic depression occurring in 2011.[164] Will Obama and Ben Bernanke prevent a worldwide depression from happening before the United States November 2012 elections? The future is often unpredictable, especially in these turbulent times, so don't bet the farm on it! With that being said, "Obamunism" has been a complete and utter failure. Developing additional sources of income and keeping your spending down is good advice during uncertain economic times.VIDEO

Bloomberg News just announced "Gold futures jumped to a record $1,429.40 an ounce on concern the U.S. will pump more cash into the economy and Europe’s debt woes will spread, boosting the appeal of the metal as an alternative to currencies."[165]

Conservative Michele Bachmann moves to #5 in our ranking of presidential candidates for 2012, due to her continued popularity and campaign stop in Michigan for a Republican Party candidate there. [166]

Hospital loses its Catholic affiliation after performing an abortion. Bishop Thomas Olmsted's decision sparked outrage from the ACLU, "The dioceses cannot be permitted to dictate who lives and who dies in Catholic-owned hospitals." [167] Unlike the ACLU and Planned Parenthood, the diocese believes that all people are deserving of life.

Still no room for Baby Jesus: Just as Bethlehem had no room for Jesus 2,000 years ago, today's U.S. media has no room for God this Christmas. [168]

Dan Rather sees primary challenge to President Obama; [169] others joining the Dump Obama movement include resident scholar at the Stanford University Martin Luther King Jr. Research and Education Institute, who wrote, "It is not easy to consider challenging the first African-American to be elected as president of the United States. But, regrettably, I believe that the time has come to do this. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist nor have a Ph.D. in political science and sociology to see clearly that Obama has abandoned much of the base that elected him,” [170] and possibly Massachusetts liberal Rep. Michael Capuano. [171]

A U.S. Congressman called for our borders to become an "irrelevancy." At a so-called "spiritual conference" which was populated by radicals, communists, and those with ties to terrorists, Democratic Representative Keith Ellison, (D-Minn.) - a man who was sworn to office with his hand on a Koran - called for the U.S. border to become irrelevant; among the group were those who compared the Tea Party movement to Hitler. [172]

Desperate, liberal Nancy Pelosi next turns to Hollywood for advice, hoping the director of movies about dinosaurs and non-existent life in outer space can guide the Democrats. [173]

Praise the Lord, "The 111th Congress Has Adjourned For The Year." [174] That headline should read, "the 111th Congress ends," because the next session will be the 112th Congress with Republicans in control of the House.

Liberals who caused so many to flee Massachusetts now have a problem: one less congressional seat as a result, and that means a liberal incumbent has to leave too. Will it be Barney Frank? [175]

Scrooge was a liberal
Ann Coulter makes a very accurate comparison between today's modern liberal and the classic miser of A Christmas Carol. "Liberals are always indignantly accusing conservatives of claiming God is on our side. What we actually say is: We're on God's side, particularly when liberals are demanding God's banishment from the public schools, abortion on demand, and taxpayer money being spent on Jesus submerged in a jar of urine and pictures of the Virgin Mary covered with pornographic photos."[176]

"GOP Electorate Trending Conservative." [177]

Spider-Man -- one of the Greatest Conservative Movies -- has been turned into a $65 million disaster on liberal Broadway, with a senseless script, poor technical design, and a third actor injured in its performance. [178]

The Washington foreign policy establishment is growing impatient with Obama's treasury draining Afghanistan War. The Los Angeles Times reports: The "Council on Foreign Relations — the heart of the traditional foreign policy establishment — warned: 'We are mindful of the threat we face. But we are also aware of the costs of the present strategy. We cannot accept these costs unless the strategy begins to show signs of progress.'"[179]

25 signs that America may soon face a financial collapse.[180]

40 percent Of all U.S. doctors say they plan to bail out of the profession over the next three years according to a recent survey. Also, according to a survey published in the New England Journal of Medicine, approximately 33% of all practicing physicians in America indicated that they may leave the medical field because of ObamaCare.[181]

The Obama Administration grabs power over the internet by issuing new rules today through the FCC, and there is immediate criticism from across the political spectrum. [182]

The liberalism of National Public Radio on display for all. NPR reporter Nina Totenberg, speaking on the local D.C. program “Inside Washington,“ apologized for using the phrase ”Christmas party” while telling a story. [183]

Another liberal argument that won't work, this time by Senator Charles Schumer: "we have hard-right people who seem to be wanting to move us back to the 19th century." [184] Actually it's liberals who want more control over the internet, as in pushing the phony "net neutrality."

Republican Governor Chris Christie stands up against gun control zealots by ordering the release of Brian Aitken, who has been serving a 7-year prison sentence for having unloaded guns that he lawfully purchased in his car trunk. [185]

Newt Gingrich leads Mitt Romney among conservatives, which would cause us to adjust our ranking of presidential candidates except that Sarah Palin leads both, which makes it difficult for Gingrich to win any early primaries. [186]

Feminists turn on Progressive over Wikileaks founder rape charges. A rift has emerged on the activist left, as feminists turn on fellow progressives over the rape allegations against WikiLeaks director Julian Assange. [187]

The case of Pigford v. Glickman takes another turn. Government checks for black farmers who aren't farmers, the taxpayers picking up the billion-dollar tab, and a lawyer admitting on video that he knows of hundreds of cases of Pigford-related fraud in the state of Arkansas alone. The Obama Adminsitration states the number is ten, and the liberal lame-stream media refuses to investigate. [188]

Atheistic Canada defeats legislation that would prohibit coercive threats to force an abortion, despite violence agaonst pregnant women who want to keep their child. "Canada is the only Western country with no abortion legislation." [189]

Neocon politics, a coalition of the willing, the dictator Saddam Hussein and the resulting cost in lives lost. The world was supposed to see a democratic Iraqi state emerge that is to be an ally of the West. What we now know is that the Christian population in Iraq has been targeted for extermination, ethnic cleansing, bombings and assassinations. An estimated 1 million Christians lived in Iraq before the 2003 U.S. invasion. Less than half of that number still remain. We need to support their call for a Christian province! [190]

The lamestream media is not reporting the deadly cold temperatures in the United States, but the press in other nations is not so distorted: "Tuesday Was Coldest Day In Costa Rica In The Last 15 Years," and it is not even winter yet! [191]

Unreported by the media, the new NIV translation quietly replaced "with child" by "pregnant" in Matthew 1:18, perhaps to appease supporters of abortion. The unborn child was Jesus.

RINO Orrin Hatch ducked the vote on don't ask, don't tell, after implying earlier this year that he might support its repeal. Hatch is up for reelection in 2012 and conservatives might defeat him in his primary.

The eight RINOs who caved into the homosexual agenda by voting to repeal don't ask, don't tell in the lame duck Senate: Scott Brown of Massachusetts, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine, John Ensign of Nevada, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Richard Burr of North Carolina, Mark Kirk of Illinois, and George Voinovich of Ohio. [192] Brown, Ensign and Snowe face elections in 2012, Voinovich is retiring, and Murkowski was recently defeated in her primary but then won as an Independent.

General Carl Mundy, USMC (Ret.), 30th Commandant of U.S. Marines recently wrote concerning repealing DADT:

"[T]he Military Times Newspapers revealed that ten percent of the survey population stated that if the ban on open homosexuality is lifted, they will not continue in service at the end of their terms of enlistment. Another 14 percent indicated they would consider not reenlisting. These are dramatic statements of attitudes by those in uniform that must not to be ignored....

Whatever your conclusions in this critically important matter, your ultimate decision must focus foremost on a single question: 'What do our armed forces gain – or what do they lose – from repeal of a law crafted to ensure their effectiveness in accomplishing the sole reason for which they exist?' That reason is not social reform; it is military effectiveness.”[193]

Conservapedia is not aware of any commanders/drill sergeants at Parris Island having favorable views of homosexuality.

A massive yet under-reported shift among Catholics in the House occurred with the last election: the ratio was 98 Democrats to 38 Republicans before, and now it is about 64 Democrats to 61 Republicans. [194] The reason in one word: abortion.

Leadership, Democrat-style: Senator Joe Manchin, facing reelection in two years in conservative-leaning West Virginia, ducks the controversial votes today with the excuse that "he was at a family holiday gathering ... [and] regretted missing the votes, but could not break the family obligation." [195]

The lame duck Senate votes 65-31 to repeal don't ask, don't tell, with the support of a handful of RINOs. [196] This symbolic advance for the homosexual agenda is the result of two decades of political activism. How many will really enlist now?

The American Association for the Advancement of Science warns that more realistic climate models will be less certain about their global warming predictions, and therefore be difficult to present to the public. In other words, science is going to prove the alarmists wrong, and they do not know how to spin it yet.[197]

Conservapedia has decided to give Richard Dawkins its atheist buffoon of the year award for 2010, due to his recent absurd comment about the King James Version of the Bible and his earlier evolutionary quackery concerning the human eye. [198][199]

An anti-war protest, led by Vietnam-era war protestor Daniel Ellsberg, is scheduled to take place in front of the White House this coming Thursday. The war protesters plan on chaining themselves to the White House fence.[200]

Obama's Afghanistan war presently faces falling public support in the United States: 60 percent of Americans surveyed in an ABC News/Washington Post poll out Thursday feel that the war is not worth fighting, which is up seven points since July of 2010.[201]

Liberal claptrap of the week: "Kentucky officials never saw Ark Encounter feasibility study." [202] Reality check: Noah didn't do a "feasibility study" either!

"Wasting no time taking on his own leadership, Congressman-elect Allen West is already picking a bone with House Majority Leader-elect Eric Cantor sending the message: lawmakers should have fewer days off." [203]

Museum of Modern Art opens in Qatar: Qatar's victorious bid to host the 2022 soccer World Cup has put the tiny gulf state on the map. And now the international art world has traveled to the capital Doha for the opening of a new museum of modern Arab art. The works on display include those of an Iraqi artist, who has come up with a unique way of chronicling every moment of his life. [204]

Reid Pulls Controversial $1.2 Trillion Spending Bill in Favor of Short-Term Budget Fix. Despicable Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid bowing to Republican opposition to a 1,924-page $1.2 trillion spending measure packed with earmarks and pork, withdrew the bill and said he would work with Republican leaders on a smaller, short-term budget fix to avoid a looming "government shutdown". Run liberals, run! [205]
