Lyoto Machida, nicknamed "The Dragon", is a Brazilian mixed martial artist fighting in the UFC's Light Heavyweight division. The son of a samauri,[1] Machida is most well known for his elusiveness and unorthodox fighting style that has won him several fights. The most famous of those, however, arguably is his decision win over former champion Tito Ortiz. His current record is 15–0.[2] He is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion after defeating Rashad Evans at UFC 98.
