Lozano v. City of Hazleton

Lozano v. Hazleton was a challenge led and won by the ACLU to overturn municipal ordinances of Hazleton (a small town in the middle of Pennsylvania) that enforces federal laws against illegal immigration. The trial occurred in federal court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania during the week of March 19, 2007.[1]
Professor Kris Kobach, a former attorney for the Department of Justice, led Hazleton's defense.
Judge James Munley invalidated the Hazleton ordinances.[2]
