Libertarian censorship refers to the tendency of left-libertarians to promote unrestricted free speech in most areas, while demanding censorship of speech with respect to:
- prayer in public school
- criticism of the theory of evolution
- disproof of homosexual beliefs
- explanation of how abortion causes breast cancer and other harms
Examples
During the 2016 Libertarian Party debates, candidate Gary Johnson declared that bakers should be forced to make wedding cakes for homosexual weddings against their will.[1]
The self-dubbed "American Civil Liberties Union" frequently champions liberal causes over libertarian ones.
