Lake Victoria in Africa is the source of the White Nile which is one of the branches of the Nile River. The lake borders [[Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The climate in the area is relatively moderate because of the lake and is a densly populated.

Lake Victoria was discovered in the Nineteenth Century by the British explorer John Hanning Speke.
