The Organization internationale de la Francophonie, usually called La Francophonie for short, is an international organization of French-speaking countries, or at least countries with an affiliation with French culture. It consists of 56 member-states, 3 associate members, and 16 observer states, all from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. It is headquartered in Paris.
