Kelly Lynn Loeffler (born November 27, 1970 (age 53)) is an American businesswoman and a former U.S. senator from Georgia.

U.S. Senate
Gubernatorial appointment
After Johnny Isakson had decided to retire from the Senate, governor of Georgia Brian Kemp appointed Loeffler to replace him.[2] Some conservatives opposed Kemp's decision, as many preferred Doug Collins to have been appointed instead. In addition, there are some who are skeptical of Loeffler's support from establishment Republicans.
Opposition to impeachment coup
Loeffler has strongly rebuked RINO Mitt Romney for his support of more impeachment "witnesses", calling it an appeasement to the Left and slander against Donald Trump.[3]
She voted against both articles of impeachment in the Senate.[4]
Establishment backing
Loeffler is supported by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as well as the National Republican Senatorial Committee.[5] Representative Doug Collins, a conservative Republican challenger for her seat, has criticized Loeffler for her endorsement by an anti-Trump, anti-agricultural group.[6]
2020 special election
Loeffler, facing Rep. Collins as well as Democrat Raphael Warnock in the special election in running to finish Isakson's Senate term, finished second place in the jungle primary held on Election Day, trailing Warnock by seven points.[7] No candidate won a majority of the votes cast, so a runoff was held on January 2021 to determine who will serve for the next two years. Democrat Raphael Warnock ended up winning the Senate Seat, scoring a narrow loss for Loeffler. Within the next couple months after leaving office, she established the Greater Georgia PAC in an effort to strengthen voter integrity.
