Landsteiner

Karl Landsteiner won the 1930 Nobel Prize for his discovery of the ABO human blood groups.

Karl Landsteiner and Alexander S. Wiener conducted experiments in which rabbits immunized with Rhesus monkey red cells showed an antibody that results in clumping of the red blood cells of many humans.[1]
