As of 2021 Joyce Beatty' is the United States House Representative from Ohio's 3rd district. Beatty was first elected in 2012. Beatty was elected vice-chair of the Congressional Black Caucus in 2018. In 2021, Beatty was arrested for storming the U.S. Capitol with a mob of insurrectionists.[1]
