Joseph James "Joe" Rogan (born August 11, 1967) is an American standup comedian, hunter, fisherman, actor, podcast host, game show host, television host, and retired martial artist. He is conservative. He is also Jewish and from New Jersey. Animal rights activists, environmentalists, and eugenicists have criticized him for making jokes about their lifestyles. "Gamers" have also attacked him for criticizing video game addiction.[1][2][3] Despite being overall conservative, he still strongly supports marijuana.

Joe Rogan was widely criticized for giving Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey a softball interview.[4][5][6][7] In 2020, his endorsement was accepted by Bernie Sanders,[8] but at the same time, a video resurfaces of Rogan comparing a black neighborhood to Planet of the Apes.[9]

When Rogan moved his podcast to Spotify, fans noted that a number of episodes featuring controversial figures had been removed.[10]
