Jimmy Gomez

Jimmy Gomez is the Democratic party representative from California's 34th Congressional District in the U.S. House. Gomez was first elected to the seat in 2017 in a special election replacing Xavier Becerra (D), who was appointed as California's attorney general. Gomez won re-election to the seat in 2018, defeating a Green Party candidate. Gomez is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and sponsor of the Green New Deal.
