Jacob Hornberger

Jacob G. Hornberger (born January 1, 1950) is an American attorney, author, and right-libertarian politician. Born in Laredo, Texas, he is the founder and president of the Future of Freedom Foundation.[1] Hornberger was a candidate for the United States Senate election in Virginia in 2002, as well as a candidate for the Libertarian Party's presidential nomination in the 2000 and 2020 presidential elections. Despite dominating in the 2020 state primaries and popular vote, the left-libertarian Jo Jorgensen was controversially selected as the nominee in the national convention.[2] Although Hornberger is pro-life and considered to be conservative-leaning, he supports the liberal stance on open borders and opposes criminalising abortion.[3]
