Intifada is the Arabic word which means shudder, awaken, or an uprising[1]. In politics this word refers to the ongoing terrorist actions taken by Palestinian "freedom fighter" against Israel. Many on the Palestian side claim that the second intifada was sparked when Ariel Sharon visited the Temple Mount. During the conflict, the Palestinians have used their tactics of killing innocent Israelis, and like always the international community, through the United Nations, has rebuked Israel for attempting to deal with the ongoing threat to its people posed by suicide bombers who target civilians.
