Isaac Newton "Ike" Skelton (1931 - 2013) was a Democrat who represented Missouri's 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1977 to 2011. Unlike most of his party, Skelton was socially conservative. He was one of the few pro-life Democrats in Congress.[1] Skelton was also one of a number of Congressmen who attained the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts when he was younger.
