Hyperion

Hyperion was the Titan-god of heavenly light and the ordering of the days and months in ancient Greek mythology. By his wife and sister Theia he was the father of the of Eos (the Dawn), Helios (the Sun) and Selene (the Moon). With three of his brothers (Coeus, Crius and Iapetus) Hyperion conspired with Cronus to depose their father Uranus. Uranus (the Sky) would descend each night to lie upon Gaia (the Earth), each standing at a corner of the cosmos they held Uranus firm whle Cronus emasculated him with a sickle.
