Hattiesburg plane crash
On May 5, 2021, a Mitsubishi MU-2 crashed into a house in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, United States, killing four people.[1] The plane had three passengers, and one person was in the house when the plane crashed.[2][3][4] The FAA and NTSB were called by local police to investigate the crash.[5]
Wikipedia's "Statement"
Wikipedia's article on the plane crash was started by Elijahandskip. 90 minutes after creation, a deletion notice was placed on the article, which was challenged by Elijahandskip. Within 2 hours, a deletion discussion that would last seven days began on the article. At the end of the discussion, the 'consensus' was delete, with four keep votes to ten delete votes. That deletion discussion became Wikipedia's statement about the plane crash with the result saying in short "This plane crash, in the United States, which killed four people, is not notable for Wikipedia and we will not have the information about it."[6]
