Global Media Outreach is an internet evangelism ministry.

Global Media Outreach indicates that as of September 2019 over 1,900,000,000 "gospel visits" have occured via their websites.[1] Global Media Outreach works with many Christians around the world (see: Global atheism).

Global Media Outreach (GMO) presents a biblical gospel message in many languages worldwide. When visitors respond with contact information, trained volunteers follow up with them for verification they understand and have committed themselves to Christ according to His teachings. Partnering with organizations like YouVersion,[2] Global Media Outreach ensures contacts has access to digital Bibles which are readable in multiple languages.

Referencing the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization,[3] "To evangelize is to spread the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins and was raised from the dead according to the Scriptures, and that as the reigning Lord he now offers the forgiveness of sins and the liberating gift of the Spirit to all who repent and believe. Our Christian presence in the world is indispensable to evangelism, and so is that kind of dialogue whose purpose is to listen sensitively in order to understand. But evangelism itself is the proclamation of the historical, biblical Christ as Savior and Lord, with a view to persuading people to come to him personally and so be reconciled to God. In issuing the Gospel invitation we have no liberty to conceal the cost of discipleship. Jesus still calls all who would follow him to deny themselves, take up their cross, and identify themselves with his new community. The results of evangelism include obedience to Christ, incorporation into his church and responsible service in the world.”- Lausanne Movement, 1975 (John Stott,[4] chairman of drafting committee)

Criticism of Global Media Outreach

Global media outreach is criticized by some Christians for teaching the "four spiritual laws." As a summary, they are no substitute for the passages on which they are based. Without the trained follow-up from thousands of Online Missionaries, who follow up in multiple languages, visitors could conceivably miss a complete salvation message. However, Global Media Outreach trains their volunteer Online Missionaries to carefully work to verify their contacts' indicated decisions and warns against a "Health, Wealth, and Prosperity gospel."[5] More recently, GMO has changed tactics slightly away from specifically teaching the Four Spiritual Laws, although they still value them highly.[6]

God Loves You!

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"

The problem is that...

All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says "The wages of sin is death."

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. "God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life—of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

If you want to accept Christ as your Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

Once there was a young man who had committed a murder. He had killed an elderly couple to get some money so he could buy drugs. He one day was caught and put in prison. He lost his family, friends; no one in the society wanted to talk to him or be his friend. He was so lonely and never thought he would be normal again. In the prison he was given a book and the book said that God loved him. He started reading this book and soon found that there was someone who loved him, someone who was willing to forgive him, someone who was willing to love him.

We all at some time in our life have done things that are not right. We all have felt guilty and terrible about these things. But, is there a respite? What is wrong with me? Will anyone accept me despite my wrongdoings? Yes! There is some who loves you, and forgives you because He created You and loves you more than anyone.

There is a Creator and He created heaven, earth, and all the things in the world. He is the only God and He loves Man. God created angels, but “Satan” and the angels who followed him did not listen to God and so God expelled them from heaven. God put man and woman in a perfect place to live. They listened to God and had a good connection with God who was with them.

One day the man and the woman listened to Satan instead of God... and their good connection with God was broken, and they were separated from God. This separation results in the curse of death. God still loved Man and gave them the law so that man would know good from evil. The Law shows what separates Man from God. The Law was not enough to save Man from sin. God sacrificed Jesus for all the sins of Man. Jesus was fully man and fully God. Jesus healed people and gave them forgiveness. He lived a sinless life.

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice... He died by crucifixion; He was innocent but judged as a criminal. After Jesus died He was buried in a tomb, but on the 3rd day He rose to life breaking the curse of death.

God said He would forgive... every person who accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior and turns away from their sinful life.

Are you ready to turn away from your sinful life and listen to God? You can ask Jesus to become your Savior and Lord of your life by praying a prayer like this: Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always.

Begin Today on Your New Journey

First, understand that we are separated from God. The chasm separating us from God is both wide and deep. It's the result of our inheriting a fatal defect at birth. Because of this we have lived our lives independently from him. The Bible emphasizes this stark reality: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Which is exactly why we need a savior!

Second, understand who Jesus is, and what he has done for us. Jesus bridged the wide gulf that separates us from God. He came to earth as the Son of God. He was born to a virgin. He led a sinless life, died and was buried. He rose again and later went up into heaven where he became both Lord and Christ.

Jesus, and he alone, is qualified to be the remedy for our sins. What he did totally satisfied God's requirements. In the apostle John's words: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John: 3:16).

Repent and Believe

Finally, repent and believe! We begin our new, personal relationship with God when we repent and believe.

To repent is to say to the Father, "God, help me. I want to turn toward you and away from the life I've lived on my own. I am sorry for who I've been and what I have done and I want to permanently change. I receive your gift of forgiveness for my sins."

To believe is to affirm for ourselves the reality that Jesus is the Son of God, the One who died for our sins, and to receive him as our Savior and Lord. This is emphatically promised in John's gospel: "To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12).

Begin Now

Would you like to receive Jesus Christ as your savior? If you would, you can pray a prayer to God like this:

"Jesus, I need you. I repent for the life I've lived apart from you. Thank you for dying on the cross to take the penalty for my sins. I believe you are God's Son and I now receive you as my Lord and Savior. I commit my life to follow you."

From: Can I Know God

God is all-powerful and holy. He tells us in the Bible that He loves each of us. All people are made in His likeness. Everyone is important to God. Despite this, we all rebel against Him and are shamed by our sin. We have failed to give glory to God for His love for us. We are helpless to restore our honor. Our shame separates us from God forever. But God’s great love for us provides a way for you and your family to regain honor. Becoming His child places you in the exalted position of being in God’s family.

How can your shame be removed? God came in the form of a man, Jesus, to take our shame away and restore our honor. Jesus lived a pure and honorable life, but was crucified on the cross by evil people. Our Lord loved everyone and died taking all the world’s sin and shame with him on the cross. When He He rose from the dead, He went to heaven in glory, where He hears our prayers.

To enter God’s family, you must accept Jesus as Lord and give allegiance to Him. Receiving Him gives you the right to be an honored child of God.

The Bible tells us, “God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Jesus died for us.” In His death Jesus took the shame we brought on ourselves. Jesus rose to life and became our mediator with God.

You and your family can each pray to ask Jesus to be your Lord and savior and give you the honor of being in God’s family. Then read the Holy Bible to learn more about Jesus.

"Lord Jesus, I believe you died on the cross to cover my shame. Please forgive my sins and bring me into God’s family forever so that my family and I may give you allegiance and honor as our Lord and Savior. We want to serve you always."
