Gender confusion or gender dysphoria is the state of one's gender not matching their biological sex. It is common among people who choose to not adhere to traditional gender roles, such as homosexuals, transsexuals, transvestites and cross-dressers. Under good parenting, the parents will accept their children for who they are.[1]

The claim that there are two genders – male and female, based on one's biological sex – is affirmed through Scripture:

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27 (ESV)

. However, this is disproven through the existence of intersex people[2] and nonbinary genders that have been present in dozens of cultures throughout history.[3]

Far rightists hold to the pseudoscientific opinion that a person's gender must be the sex they were assigned at birth.

In Europe, countries such as the United Kingdom and France have adopted policies promoting transgender rights.[4] In 2019, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their plans to raise their first child "gender fluid."[5]

Gender transition has been proven to be an effective treatment for gender dysphoria.[6]

Jamie Shupe, the first person to be classified as "non-binary" (where such a person demands that he/she be referred to plurally as "they/them/their", as they was used as a singular pronoun in the English language for hundreds of years[7]), claimed his sexual view was the result of mental illness and that he did not receive real help from others.[8] Among the more notable people currently claiming to be "non-binary" include SJW video game "developer" wannabe/scam artist Zoe Quinn (assigned female at birth) and British singer Sam Smith (assigned male at birth), and liberal-biased Wikipedia has played along with them (since the entire scientific community agrees that nonbinary gender identities are valid[9]) by using Quinn's and Smith's preferred pronouns in support of the scientific consensus, as well as for the sake of not harassing people.
