France to punish ex-generals for Islamist 'civil war' open letter. The letter was signed by 24 retired generals, as well as 80 colonels or captains, 125 lieutenant-colonels or lower-ranked officers, and about 1,000 military personnel.[1] [2]

A Harris Interactive poll shows 58% of French people agreed with the ex-generals open letter.[3]

Much to the dismay of the leftists at RationalWiki, Samuel P. Huntington, who authored the book The Clash of Civilizations the Remaking of the World Order, is being vindicated as history unfolds.

RationalWiki is a politically left of center wiki whose editors are mainly atheists/agnostics.

The material below was obscured at the RationalWiki website because if there is one thing that secular leftists with "superior atheist intellects" hate, it is to badly lose an exchange with a Bible believing Christian. And is it not due to my debating prowess that I so easily and effortlessly win my exchanges with RationalWikians, it is due the utter speciousness of the secular leftists worldview!

Samuel P. Huntington, who wrote The Clash of Civilizations the Remaking of the World Order, is being vindicated as history unfolds.

France to punish ex-generals for Islamist 'civil war' open letter.[4] The letter was signed by 24 retired generals, as well as 80 colonels or captains, 125 lieutenant-colonels or lower-ranked officers, and about 1,000 others.[5]

The letter was signed by 1,000+ active service personnel in France.[6]

The military/ex-military hasn't been rebellious since the time of Charles de Gaulle.

Much to the dismay of the leftists at RationalWiki, a Harris Interactive poll shows 58% of French people agreed with the ex-generals open letter.[7]

Questions: Did you know that RationalWiki has no article on Islamic terrorism? I am sure it is just an oversight. Denial is not just a river in Egypt! Another question: Why are crooked Hillary Clinton or Barack Hussein Obama so reluctant say the words "radical Islamic terrorism"? Sad!

European nations often have their own distinct cultures. So every nation in Europe is going to react to Muslim immigrants somewhat differently. If Huntington proves right as far as Western/European civilization and Islam, the first domino to fall could be France. And then France could affect other Western European nations.

According to the 2008 book The Encyclopedia of Wars about 7% of all wars have been religious wars (see: Irreligion/religion and war). Of those religious wars, Islam has been involved in over half of them which is a disproprortionate amount of those wars. And I don't see Islam having some kind of major Reformation like Christianity experienced in the near term so the Islam of today will be much like of tomorrow. So Islam sparking wars will continue to be disportionate. But the degree that Islam does change, it will grow to be more fundamentalistic as Islamic fundamentalists have more children (this happened in Turkey). See: Growth of religious fundamentalism

The French are a proud people and are fiercely protective of their culture in some ways (they are vigilent in preventing the French language from being Anglicized for example). And the French are known for discriminating against Muslims more so than some other countries. While it is true that the French have had more Islamic immigration into their country (labor needs as a more irreligious/nonreligious France has a sub-replacement fertility rate. See: Atheism and fertility rates), there has been a quite a bit of conflict as of late.

Cultures differ in terms of the amount of xenophobia, hospitality/openness to foreigners/immigrants, aggression and the propensity of their populations to revolt against its leaders.

China has a lot of xenophobia and the Chinese communists under Xi Jinping are being more aggressive in terms of anti-religious/militant atheism ideology so there is a lot of Sino-Islam conflict within China. And I don't see the Chinese letting up their pressure on Muslims under Xi Jinping.

Even without immigration, Islam will continue to grow in France. Depending on the amount of immigration, by 2050 the percentage of Muslims in France will be somewhere between 12% to 17.4% according to demographers.[8]

Germany has needed a lot of workers for their strong economy so there is an incentive for Germany to foster assimiliation. Germany made greater efforts to help cause its immigrants to assimilate than France (its efforts to teach its native language, help immigrants obtain employment, etc.). Muslim assimilation in Germany is better than most European countries.[9]. But there is a lot of native German and Muslim immigrant conflict. The Daily Sabah says there has been 900 anti-Muslim attacks in Germany in 2020.[10] By 2050, the percentage of Muslims in Germany is projected to be somewhere between 8.7% to 19.7% in Germany depending on the amount of immigration.[11]

Based on European history, its various cultures, the current amount of native population and Islamic immigrant conflict due to cultural/political reasons and the future growth of Islam within various European countries, if Samuel P. Huntington is largely or completely vindicated I suspect it will happen in France first and Germany second. And if I were a betting man, I would say that Austria/Italy would be next followed by the UK (Austria closed 7 mosques a few years ago [12]).

Important additional data

An excerpt from the obituary of Samuel P. Huntington who authored the book The Clash of Civilizations the Remaking of the World Order:

Huntington identified eight major civilisations in the world: "Western, Confucian, Japanese, Islamic, Hindu, Slavic-Orthodox, Latin American and possibly African civilization." But much of the article examined the scope for conflict between just two of those: the West and Islam.
The West, he suggested was "at its peak" and its "efforts to promote its values of democracy and liberalism as universal values, to maintain its military predominance and to advance its economic interests" would only "engender countering responses from other civilizations". With ethnicity and religion defining identity, wars would not be about "what side you are on" but "what you are". Military confrontations would take on "an 'us' against 'them' relation".
The clash of civilisations, would, Huntington suggested, be acted out most violently on the boundaries between them. "Conflict along the fault line between Western and Islamic civilizations has been going on for 1,300 years," he noted, predicting that it would become "more virulent". But Islam's problems would not just be with the West. "Violence also occurs between Muslims, on the one hand, and Orthodox Serbs in the Balkans, Jews in Israel, Hindus in India, Buddhists in Burma and Catholics in the Philippines," he wrote. "Islam has bloody borders.""[13]

The September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center, the 1985–86 Paris attacks, Pan Am Flight 103 bombing, 2004 Madrid train bombings and other acts of Islamic terrorism helped fuel this culture clash thinking. The massacres committed by the Ottoman Empire and Muslim plane hijackings contributed as well.

If you look at Wikipedia's article List of Islamist terrorist attacks, you will see that the number of Muslim terrorist attacks is much higher in the 21st century than the last 30 years of the 20th century.

Political science is a social science. The scientific method involves: Forming a hypothesis; making predictions; and then carrying out experiments or empirical observations based on those predictions.

Lots of supporting data was brought forth about culture clash between Islam and the West. There is other supporting data as far as culture/civilization clash as well. The Sino/Chinese/Confuscian and India/Hindu cultures had recent border skirmishes in 2020/2021. Right now, there is a border crisis and drug trade problem between the Latin American civilization and the United States Western civilization. The Japanese civilization and the Westernized civilization in the Philippines is having conflict with Sino/Chinese/Confuscian culture as far as ocean territorial disputes. The Western civilization as a whole is having various tensions with the Confuscian/Sino/Chinese culture. If you look at Wikipedia's article Africa/China relations, you will see various disputes/tensions between the Africa and Chinese/Confuscian culture.

20 French ex-generals open letter

Mr. President,

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Government

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Parliament,

The hour is grave, France is in peril, several mortal dangers threaten her. We, who even after retirement, remain soldiers of France, cannot, in the present circumstances, remain indifferent to the fate of our beautiful country.

Our tricolor flags are not simply a piece of cloth, they symbolize the tradition, through the ages, of those who, regardless of their skin color or creed, have served France and given their lives for her. On these flags, we find in golden letters the words "Honneur et Patrie". Now, our honor today lies in denouncing the disintegration that is affecting our country.

This deterioration, through a certain anti-racism, has only one goal: to create on our soil a malaise, even a hatred between communities. Today, some speak of racialism, indigenism and decolonial theories, but through these terms it is the racial war that these hateful and fanatical supporters want. They despise our country, its traditions, its culture, and want to see it dissolve by tearing away its past and its history. Thus they attack, by means of statues, former military and civil glories by analyzing centuries old words.

This is a disintegration which, with Islamism and the suburban hordes, leads to the detachment of multiple parcels of the nation to transform them into territories subject to dogmas contrary to our constitution. However, each Frenchman, whatever his belief or his non-belief, is at home everywhere in France; there cannot and must not exist any city, any district where the laws of the Republic do not apply.

Delay, because hatred takes precedence over fraternity during demonstrations where the power uses the forces of order as auxiliary agents and scapegoats in front of French people in yellow vests expressing their despair. This while infiltrated and hooded individuals vandalize businesses and threaten these same forces of order. However, these forces are only applying the directives, sometimes contradictory, given by you, the government.

The dangers are rising, the violence is increasing day by day. Who would have predicted ten years ago that a teacher would one day be beheaded at the entrance of his school? Now, we, the servants of the Nation, who have always been ready to put our skin to the test - as our military status demanded - cannot be passive spectators of such actions.

Therefore, those who lead our country must imperatively find the necessary courage to eradicate these dangers. For this, it is often enough to apply without weakness the laws that already exist. Do not forget that, like us, a great majority of our fellow citizens is fed up with your wavering and guilty silences.

As Cardinal Mercier, Primate of Belgium, said: "When prudence is everywhere, courage is nowhere. "So, ladies and gentlemen, enough procrastination, the hour is serious, the work is colossal; do not waste time and know that we are ready to support the policies that will take into consideration the safeguard of the nation.

On the other hand, if nothing is undertaken, laxity will continue to spread inexorably in society, ultimately causing an explosion and the intervention of our active comrades in a perilous mission to protect our civilizational values and safeguard our compatriots on the national territory.

We can see that it is no longer time to procrastinate, otherwise tomorrow civil war will put an end to this growing chaos, and the dead, for which you will be responsible, will be counted in thousands.
