Donald Bellisario

Donald Bellisario (b. August 8, 1935) is a former Marine (serving from 1955 to 1959 and continuing as a reservist until 1963) who has been the creator (with producer and screen-writer credits) of such popular tv shows as the original Battlestar Galactica, Magnum P.I., Airwolf, Quantum Leap, JAG, and NCIS. He has been a Republican for most of his life (during the Nixon era he became an independent). [1]
