Dominion of New England

The Dominion of New England was a combination of several colonies from 1686 to 1689 that spanned from New Jersey up through New York and the rest of the New England colonies. The Dominion was dissolved shortly after the Glorious Revolution and the 1689 Boston revolt. This led to the deposition of New York's governor after Leisler's Rebellion.
