Latino population--A demographic study of the United States

Demographics is the advertising agency term for studies of customers. They use census data and polls to look at viewing habits (of television, for exampe), and buying habits.

The formal study of population is called Demography and it is an important branch of social science, with many contributors from economics, sociology, history, statistics and epidemiology.
