David Schweikert (born March 3, 1962 in Los Angeles, California, age 62) is the Republican U.S. Representative from Arizona's 5th congressional district, defeating incumbent Democrat Harry Mitchell in the 2010 midterm elections. He is a member of the House Financial Services Committee.

Schweikert previously served two terms in the Arizona House of Representatives, as chair of the State Board of Equalization, and as the Treasurer of Maricopa County.

In May 2022, Schweikert turned to be establishment tool and vote for passing $40 billion to Ukraine war.[1]
